I have searched and read as much as I can about this. I understand that it takes away outside storage. But, does it work any better that two air conditioners mounted on the roof? Does it really coo...

People keep pointing out service and parts. Simple matter of fact is that it is built from the same parts as a residential unit, so I fail to see where the issue is, unless, and only unless there is a control system failure that you can't find parts for.
Who cares if Coleman doesn't support it? So far the only valid issue is the rear ducting that was a known issue and can be fixed, but likely not cheap.
Also one thing that hasn't been mentioned in 2 pages is that is sure is nice to have a nice clean A/C free roof when you're installing solar. Either they are in the way or shadowing a panel.
