Well, the important thing is IF a person is happy with a basement type air conditioner, so be it. That is why we all buy different motor homes because if we all liked the same, then some coach companies would go out of business.
We have been very happy with the two roof heatpump/airconditioners that our coach has. But I can only run one on 30 amp. Both on 50 amps. and both with the Onan 7500 Quiet diesel generator.
In the winter all we need is the heatpump in the front on. Set it at 72 and we sleep comfortable, but if it gets below 38 degrees outside temperature, it will switch automatically to the furnace.
