I have searched and read as much as I can about this. I understand that it takes away outside storage. But, does it work any better that two air conditioners mounted on the roof? Does it really coo...

RayChez, the main reason for 5 A/C units on an Entertainer Bus is for redundancy. If one unit goes out, you have four. And four will cool just fine on hot days. Entertainer coaches probably have OTR (over-the-road-air) and don't need the roof units until parked (engine off). OTR only works when the engine is on.
