Lesser $ alternative to Light Bubba Burgers

I use the KitchenAid grinder attachment with very good results. If anyone wants to try another, 'burger'-we are leaving Sunday for the first trip of the season. I will be making big portabella mushrooms on charcoal. Marinate them, grill them, serve them on a toasted bun with avocado/lettuce/tomato. Delicious, easy, and no worry about e.coli!

Eat whatever you like.... Premade burgers are easy to deal with..

We do have the KitchenAid mixer, so I'll look into that grinder. Never thought of that. Guess it's not really a big deal to grind it, patty it, then freeze it.
Bubba Burgers really are good, the non-light versions are insane.

We buy a mix from a local store that cuts there own meats and sells at a counter. They call it Boston burger and it's 80% lean beef and 20% pork. It makes great burgers for the grill with some Weber hamburger spice thrown on them.

We use this method which takes only a few minutes to make.

Not only do we know all the ingredients in it (some ingredients are not required to be labeled for the meat in processed burgers) but it tastes far and away better than BBs or any other processed burger. We no longer buy ff burgers because nothing tastes as good.

If we want an ethnic slant on the patties, we'll add fine parmesan, garlic powder, cumin, or oregano, or whatever spice we fancy to the processor with the meat. This method also makes outstanding meatballs!

We'll never buy a processed burger again. Can buy the meat on sale and make your own frozen patties ready for use later. If there are spices in it, the patties taste great after a week in the freezer.

Sorry guys, but nothing beats the flavor and convenience of a perfectly cooked Bubba-Burger......... We have burgers once per week and they are our choice.

My wife loves to cook and bake, we had the kitchen aid mixer so...I looked up the accessories and purchased the grind attachment. This comes with the plunger and two dies, fine and course, if you want a finer grind, grind it twice.

Look it up, you cannot go wrong with kitchen appliance.

I live in a townhome and park both vehicles in our garage. I park the trailer at a storage lot. We have next to no butchers here and I dont know any farmers.........;-) I will check to see about the ground beef at the butcher where I buy steak tips.

I grind my own beef, chicken, turkey and pork etc. It only took one time and I never looked back at pre-ground anything.
