The Mobley was a dumb device and easy to rig up for full time internet. So far providing unlimited data with no slowdowns not sure how long that will last I go over every month 35/40 mgb with no slowsowns. Speed high 20's to 40 MPS.
Spark is an intelligent device that knows when it is a vehicle and when the vehicle is running with timeout so it auto shuts down and can not be tricked into staying on. - goducks10Explorer

My T-mobile plan is unlimited no overcharges though they only guarantee "High speed for so many gigs (One for hotspot one for the phone itself) I"m over on both as I type
I don't think so. There is some sort of convoluted plan where Dish is spun off as a new cell phone provider using their large unused block of spectrum, so there will (in theory) still be 4 providers. That new network will use Sprint's network until they get their own up and running.
Someone has noticed that countries with only 3 cell providers have much higher rates than those with 4 providers.
Vodafone in Europe=$25.42-$33.16 unlimited 5G pay as you go.

That's why I left Verizon. My truly unlimited data plan kept getting managed to unusable speeds. Sometimes at very low usage numbers. - DFordExplorerFMCA Offers Sprint Unlimited Data Plan

Q: What is my data limit for this plan?
A: The Sprint Mobile Hotspot plan is a truly unlimited data plan with no data cap. Sprint does, however, reserve the right to network manage at any point and this can happen in congested areas from time to time. - Dutch_12078Explorer IIWe have two UDP's that are no longer offered, the prepaid hotspot plan from Verizon that recently ended, and the AT&T Connected Car Mobley plan wth the SIM moved to a Netgear Unite Explore hotspot. Both are subject to deprioritization, but the reality for us has been that even in congested areas the speeds have still been good enough for reliable streaming on one service or the other. We average around 150 GB/mo combined.

Many cell phone plans I know of boast of "unlimited" data, but I've run into exceptions for hot spot use and metered rates after certain limits.
Are there any plans that are truly unlimited and OK for hot spot use without metering?
OTR Mobile, an AT&T reseller (MVNO) offers a "hotspot only" plan that never throttles and is unlimited.
Their Site - 2oldmanExplorer IIVerizon isn't going to be charging me $100/mo for 4g speed hotspot data (not unlimited) almost anywhere I travel, but give it to you for half that price. That doesn't make any sense.
- wanderingaimlesExplorerAdd on question for this. In my area Verizon is by far the predominant player. ATT did put a tower in, but chose a location which makes their coverage spotty.
I tried getting an ATT unlimited phone plan and got decent data speeds, but the phone was barely able to function as a phone throughout the house.
LTE Data was good, voice was poor so I dropped it and went to The VeriZone.
On the connected car programs, I was too late to get the Mobley deal when it was available, the ATT tower was not up. But now they have the Harman spark units which would still give web access. M y car is parked 10 feet from my bedroom window, how far do these connected car units work from OBD jack to whatever device you are using?
