I have a call blocker app. It works great. I rarely get spam calls - usually they occur right after I used my cell number for contact info somewhere. I've gotten good at identifying spam numbers, so I just block it immediately. That seems to stop my number from making the spam circuit.
clue: if the prefix is the same as your number and it's not a number you recognize, it's probably spam.
