How to stop junk calls on cell phone

My little Geek, helped me to fix this issue. I was getting three or four per-day and it was crazy. Here is what he told me to do and it worked.
First, understand when your phone is in SLEEP MODE the only calls you get are from your favorites LIST. So the only one who can contact you are on FAVORITES, NO RINGS, NOTHING COMES THROUGH during meetings or talks with friends. NOTHING.
Add all contacts to favorites LIST on iPhone contacts. So the FIXER is to put your phone on SLEEP MODE. Then all Contacts and YES you have to put all contacts on FAVERATORS LIST. Then when they 800 calls come rolling in you hear nothing. At the end of the day, you may have three or four calls that did not come through.
I BLOCK them anyway, next I will check voicemails as that is the new JOKER being used. But then found I had BLOCKED in 1-year I have had over 200-CALLS I have BLOCKED. I believe it started when gave FACETRASH my number which I learn friends also got the number. As well maybe Twittwist and I have removed myself from all of them. GOT MY NUMBER as that is when the calls started rolling in for one to 3 or four per day. with no left messages, I BLOCKED them. So if some EMAIL or internet groups what your number for security to protect your password you will be giving it to the world.
UNDERSTAND, The world wants your DATA, make a chose and don't give it to them.
SO with my iPhone on Sleep MODE for 22-Hours nothing but my contacts comes through and NO DAILY RINGS SOUNDS. Works for me very well.
