What determines the Class? A, C, Super C, B, B+, confused
What determines what Class the RV belongs to? It can't be length.
I'm looking for something between 25 and 30 feet for wife and I. This will be our first RV. Want to travel around and explore USA in our retirement years.
First I wanted a Class B for ease of driving/parking (the one I liked was referred to as a Class B+). What is the difference between a Class B and B+? Just the length.
Then I saw some floor plans for the Class C, and got interested in those (more luxurious) - so I'm looking at Class C. And I see there is also a "Super C". I assume its longer than a "C".
After scrolling through what feels like hundreds of RV Trader ads, sorting by length (25 to 30 ft), I see there are Class A RVs in the 30ft length too.
So Class B+ is available in a 25ft length, Class C is available in my range of 25 to 30 ft., and Class A is available in 30 ft.
Is it the GVWR that determines what Class it is?
or
Is the build construction that determines what the Class is (like Cutaway versus Purpose built)?
