Question about using Anderson levelers

Ours work great and can level the camper much quicker and more accurate than the plastic blocks. We have had them slip on us 2 or 3 times in the 15 times we used them so we still Cary the Lynx levelers which is a bummer.

Work great in my HTT, where I have limited storage space.

I had those yellow/orange plastic blocks but they were too narrow for my Motorhome tires as they did not support the sidewalls. fine for under hydraulic levelers or for a TT tire however.

Same here so much easier to use and saves so much time. Don't have to build a ramp and for me it's a one person job to set up and roll on need no help. Like them alot and wouldn't leave home without them!

I use them on my truck camper. One of the first ones broke in half. Anderson replaced it immediately no charge. Can slip a little on pavement, but I almost always am on dirt. Estimate which wheel needs to come up most, start pulling up on that one, then get out and start the other one. It's not a problem. When done you can either pull up an inch and then take out the wedge and then back off or just pull forward, it's only a 4 inch drop, you'll barely feel it. I still carry a few 2X10 blocks in case I need more lift than 4 inches, but even rough boondocking I haven't encountered it. I'm not all that particular about being exactly level anyway.

I use them and like them. I have a small, single axle trailer. There are "how to" videos on Youtube.

I had a set, mounted a big level on the front of the trailer and they worked great. I did not "drive" off of them like recommended, but reversed off them. Never had any slippage issues, but I was always on pavement (race track paddocks).

Current trailer has levelers, so no longer use the Andersons.

I do not think they would work well for a van/motorhome if you have to raise different heights for steer and drive wheels. Just not designed to work that way.

I also had one break in half. That was most disconcerting in the middle of the night.

If they were longer, went up higher and had less of a curve I'd possibly like them better.

I did not enjoy driving "off" the end of them. They skid if you try to use them with wood under them to give extra height.
