This does not jive with what I was told in a gun store the other day.
I did notice when in the store that bear spray was in a completely different, larger, and more expensive container than that of the pepper spray ... lending credence to his explanation of them being maybe enough different so as to make use of bear spray on a human a felony (at least in CA).
