Burner tube assy. older Norcold Frig

Be prepared to replace the gas supply pipe. Mine was aluminum and there was no way to loosen the fittings without breaking the tubing.

I'm having trouble reading the tag, corrosion. I'll try to clean and magnify the id plate.

Officially, that old burner and tube are not available or replaceable. The new burner, orifice and tube from any 6 or 8 foot N series should work fine, though all must be replaced if you replace any of it, and the tube will have to be formed to fit.

I may just settle for compressed air and a vacuum.

The leaf blower and shop vac it is then. Thanks...until that no longer works.

I feel your pain... My fridge is a 1999 old school push to spark unit. Works great on electric, but every time I go to use it on propane I get a lazy flame and no cooling. I then grab the air hose and give a quick little spurt or two thru the burner and it works perfectly... For a few days... Then I need to shoot it with air again... Seems worse if I drive around then if I stay parked.

Mine is an '88 with electronic spark. It runs beautifully for awhile. It wouldn't relight the other day...it was HOT. After an hour it reset with no problem. Let us see about the next time.
