LSI electronic leveling system

Question

I have a Grand Design Solitude, it came with a four point LSI electronic leveling system. It is 1 ½ years old, and the display I'd failing. If I could remember where the functions are when operating them they work just fine, but the display shows nothing! By unplugging it it resets and everything is fine for a while! The problem is getting worse, and the time between resets is getting shorter.

First, has anyone experienced a similar problem? Second short of replacing it, (display is almost $200 bucks), is there anything I could do to prolong its life?

If I were you, I'd give Lippert a call and see if they have any suggestions. Normally, they're pretty helpful when it comes to this kind of thing. Their number is:

I've used the email route with them in the past and usually get a response in 24 hours or less.
