Rubber roof glue?

I had to peel back a corner of my rubber roof to repair the wood underneath. I will need to glue the rubber back down. Is there a specific type of glue that I need to use?
  • I just had this very same conversation with the folks at Alpha roofing...
They suggest using - 3M 77 spray adhesive

They have done a ton of studies and found this to be the best... spray the roof area to be replaced, reconnected , spray the membrane while BOTH are tacky press together and use roller to adhere the 2 together...
  • Hi—you can use a non-solvent based contact cement. Make sure both surfaces are dry and coat with the non-solvent contact cement. You have to be careful laying the rubber back down as once it makes contact, it cannot be moved. Sort of like applying contact paper.
