- LynnandCarolExplorerWe are still struggling with this as moving the Thermistor on the fin has not helped. The temp in the fridge is around 30/29 degrees! We have a Dometic Model 2652. We will try the Thermistor repair kit recommended herein. A dead truck battery earlier this week and now this :(

Of course there is no adjustment for the fridge temperature
OP stated 'no adjustment'
Not all fridges have an adjustment for temp settings on upper panel
Temp control is pre-set and minor adjustments to temp in food section can be accomplished by movement of thermister on fin
Snip-The-Tip is a thermister repair kit for Dometic models
Instead of removing bad thermister and trying to pull new wiring from food section to lower control board you 'snip' the old thermister off, wire in the new thermister which comes with a rheostat to make temp adjustments - doxiemom11Explorer IIThermistor placement is also dependent on which model of Norcold frig you have. The manual should tell you the correct placement.
- TNTravellerExplorerWe had a Dometic that we could not adjust the temperature on that would freeze the food in the refrigerator. The freezer always worked fine.
Moving the thermistor on the fin is not a good adjustment method.
We replaced the thermistor with an adjustable thermistor found online. It is basically a thermistor with adjustable resistor in series to allow temperature adjustment. That was 4 years ago and it was only $21. Best thing we ever did.
I bought mine from below.

Good luck. - drsteveExplorerNever seen a fridge without some sort of temp adjustment...
- wolfe10ExplorerWe don't even know if the OP has a refrigerator with multiple settings-- and if so, what it was set on.
They need to verify that the thermistor is still attached to the fins.
A $10 (from Walmart) Acurite remote thermometer would be a good investment.
A 2-D cell powered fan inside the refrigerator will keep temperatures more consistent throughout the refrigerator (may be that poor air circulation in the refrigerator lead to just a small area being below freezing-- no idea if this is the case or if the whole thing was too cold.
SO-- what refrigerator do you have? Is the thermistor attached to the refrigerator fin? If different temperature settings, what is it set on? - ADAD437Explorer

There is always the Snip the Tip add-on, if one wants finer-grained thermister control.
what are you talking about? - botts12ExplorerWhen that happened to us we replaced the thermistor. About $25.00 part. Easy to plug in.
- j-dExplorer IIA friend's Dometic was freezing stuff. I unplugged the Thermistor (that piece that clips onto the fins mentioned above) at the Control Board and tested it according to the service manual. Tested OK. I left scratching my head, what next? Friend reported "You Fixed It." What I decided was the little pins on the connector had corroded, lost contact, and when I unplugged/plugged back, must have scraped them clean.
You don't say which fridge it is, but if the Thermistor in a Dometic fails "open" (and Unplugged is the Ultimate Open), it goes to max cooling and doesn't know when to stop. Can freeze the fridge section. - mlts22ExplorerThere is always the Snip the Tip add-on, if one wants finer-grained thermister control.
