  • I like to read success situation s
I have learned when the dealer seems indifferent a call
to the manufacture helps get the dealer in gear or a manufacture steps up
  • Kinda minor but When I bought the Barker electric tongue jack 12 years prior, I ordered a vinyl cover for it (a bag really). Twelve years later it was looking pretty ratty so I called to order another one. The nice lady on the phone asked me my name, looked it up and saw that I had already bought one. Then she told me they would ship another out no-charge.

Fantastic Fan used to be great for this sort of thing. They sent me a no-charge, larger trim ring back in the day.
Since Dometic bought them they don't even want to sell you parts anymore let alone give them away. Last time I needed a part they gave me the P/N and told me to just look it up on Fleabay.
  • Dometic replaced our 25 month old 15000 btu A/C and sent a mobile tech to our house to replace it, no charge. Our units were a batch of bad A/Cs that they produced. They even gave us a 5 year extended warranty on our 13500 btu A/C.
  • I posted on here about how I had my battery stolen out of my camper. A week later, I was contacted by Tork Lift. They offered to give me a PowerArmor locking and solar powered battery box free of charge. They sent it to me, I installed it, and it has been an awesome addition to my camper. My battery is totally secured, and it is always fully charged and ready to go.
  • All the brochures I saw for my trailer showed a woodblock cutting board that covers the stove. Mine did not have one. When I questioned my dealer, he researched and learned that it had been discontinued starting with my model. I contacted Coachmen and explained how disappointed I was and asked how to buy one. They immediately sent me one through the mail at no charge.

Not sure if that's what you are asking for.
  • When I removed my 1.5 yr old UltraFab 3502 tongue jack for the winter a nut & 3 washers fell out of the bottom shaft. :E I emailed UltraFab asking if a replacement nut was available and for clearer instructions on how to install these parts. Turns out UltraFab had been having issues with this press fit nut so it's now welded to the drive screw so it can't slip out of place. Rather than send me parts UltraFab sent me a brand new jack, no cost to me at all ... it's now in my workshop awaiting installation in the spring. :B
  • Fantastic fan - 92 RV plastic part broke - sent replacement cover the next day - no questions asked.
