- silversandExplorer....I always envisioned replacing the Weblon soft-wall on our Outfitter would be quite easy! With roof in up position:
-simply remove the bottom drip cap rails; perhaps 80 screws (and keep them)
-remove the top roof U channel (perhaps 50 screws), Weblon now just falls loose.
Simply pull Weblon "band" forward, slip over forward roof section, and just peel it off the roof towards the rear, then close roof till new Weblon side arrives. Send the entire intact Weblon "band" to a soft-side camper replicator (like the link posted above). Receive the new one (by UPS). Repeat above procedure to install...absolutely no roof removal needed at all.
The only "hitch" may be if you have a wire harness sheath channeling wires into the roof from camper, attached to your inside soft-side wall. This is easy to detach/re-connect. - sharkmanExplorerLuckily our pop up canvas had been replaced right before we got it but the side wood in the roof has some rot, the front board is completely gone, anyways FYI youtube has some very good videos on canvas replacement on pop ups.
- DonCExplorerOk thanks for the help. I am sure I can figure it out :)

- GWolfeExplorerI replaced the canvas on my old pop up trailer and it took an afternoon, I would say a day and a half is a little extreme. The trailer was easy peasy I can't imagine a TC being any worse,
- d3500ramExplorer IIII cannot comment on the canvas-replace job... but something else to consider:
If you do decide to do the canvas yourself... do a good thorough inspection where the lift mechanism attaches to the top.
When I had my first pop-up years ago, the structure the contact points was weak from stress and beginning of the wood starting to rot. I did the repairs with the canvas in place as it was still in good shape, but had to work around the canvas.
If you have any rot issues starting, now would be the time to take care of those too while the canvas is out. - DonCExplorerThanks BC I was hoping for some positive info. RV Shop wanted $1500 to install it :S said it would take a day and half :R
