Cold vs. hot tire pressure
Now having dashboard readout of individual tire pressure has made me aware of quite a difference between cold and hot.
Carrying a heavy camper, I have Nitto Dura Grapplers 285/75-17 and run 70 psi front, 78 rear.
Last month we traveled a couple hours east to the Maine coast. Temperatures were in the high 70's
When we first got there, my rear tires were reading right around 92 psi
I worry about midsummer temperatures and the tires reaching higher pressures.
Any thoughts?
