How nice.
Have at it. I'm on the side now, reading along and chuckling.

My 12 ram is deleted because I got tired of going to the shop every 2 months to get the egr cleaned. It’s chipped just enough to keep the computer from throwing a code. I’ve never seen black smoke from my tailpipe. I know some gets out but I’m sure it’s nominal. For those proclaiming my vehicle should be stolen by the government and I should also fined, I think you should do your part and quit towing trailers or using truck campers or driving motor homes because even you are contributing to the very thing you’re complaining about.
Sorry to wizz on your oatmeal. If you need to take the truck in that often there is something wrong with the truck, or more likely because the shop didn't fix, you are not using it like it was designed. You think you need this big engine to do what you do, fine. But if you do, you should be the one to pay the cost, not the rest of the world.
As to the thought I should stop towing; I tow, but I bought what I need to tow, and do it with a box stock vehicle.
Somebody driving a 30 YO Toyota back and forth to their job. If LEO thinks to much smoke, that poor mother has to fix or replace.

I also think it is a bit ironic that the government is cracking down on diesel brothers yet Elon Musk can blast all those Kerosene(#1 diesel fuel) rockets in the air each one worth the emissions of hundreds of thousands of these trucks. I guess if you have enough money and lobby the right people, then you have free reign to make your own rules and do as you please.
Then you have Elon and all the rest of those movie stars/entertainers/sports players fly around in their private jets, helicopters; have exotic cars and yachts living in multiple houses telling use that we should not pollute the air they breathe. That we have to pay extra for these emissions equipment for their clean air. Each one of them probably put more carbon and NOx in the air then hundreds of the diesel brothers yet the diesel brothers are the bad guys here. Go figure.... :h
If only life were that simple. The rockets that Elon Musk and several other blast off into space fulfill a scientific and commercial purpose, that will and is advancing man kinds knowledge.
The pollution controls on our vehicles were put there for the benefit of all,(socialism), and even though they are sometimes a pain in the rear,I and all thinking people are grateful for their existence.
Your desire to giggle and play with yourself at the sight of blacksmoke polluting our sky, is not a right ,it is nothing more than selfishness. With trucks rolling off the factory floor pushing 500HP, the NEED for more power is ludacris. If you want more power ,knock yourself out, but do it within established parameters.

I think if the GUVMENT requirez uz to have all this equipment on our trucks they should maintainz it.
You comment is not really worth a reply except to say it smacks of ignorance on your part.
Thanks, nice you feel the need to call names.
BTW you should put " around what "I" said.
Where were names called? If it was the word ignorance that pulled the trigger, someone needs a thicker skin and a dictionary. Ignorance is not an appellation it is a state. In fact the only derivative of ignorant that is a "name" would be ignoramous.

Otherwise how else do commercial and military systems get into orbit?
OTOH those diesels rolling coal have NO PURPOSE WHATSOEVER except to waste fuel, irritate other drivers, pollute, cause traffic hazard.
Someday you will see the difference in having an actual purpose in life vs. just wrecking havoc for fun.
Pathetic and sad.
