OK and I believe there are better ways to protest the EPA regulations than starting a business to defeat the OEM emission control systems.
This has nothing to do with SpaceX or Elon Musk. Two wrongs do not make a right. Protest both if you have the drive.

All the government has done is demand that we pollute the environment a little less. The fines are levied on those that insist on pollution. Same as you can be cited for littering. This is no different than tipping over a dumpster so all the trash can wash out to the ocean.

Sure it easy to blame the government. But we the people are the government.
The problem is we don't hold the government accountable...for anything.
Our society doesn't vote. We are lucky if we get 50% turnout at the poles.
80-90% is a pipe dream.
With that in mind we elect the same people to Congress year and and year out and wonder why we get the same results.
Until we demand some form of Congressional term limits we are at the mercy of policy makers that too often do not have our best interest in mind.
We've had term limits in Michigan for 25 years, and the legislature is much worse for it, not better. Be careful what you wish for.

The last several posts, to me, have cemented the thought that the government said its good so therefore it is. Looking back over the years, it seems life was so much easier when government wasn’t AS big and intrusive as it is now. Government in Los Angeles is telling people they can’t even go out in their yard. Yeah boy, more government is the key.
