BTW... Those tail pipes on the Godzilla are massive and they can keep the winch. - TurnThePageExplorer

There are plenty of Power Wagons here in the northwest. I think they probably sell pretty well.
The Power Wagon does have some cool stuff for serious off roading but in that 14 years I have only seen about two of them. Unless they are selling much better in other parts of the country Ford isn't missing out on much of the market. - FlashmanExplorer II

In serious off roading there are situations that you do not want your differential to lock.
Therefore the only to go is with selective lockers.
If there is such a place, I haven't found one yet. I wouldn't mind selectables in my pickup because I tow a trailer and deal with weather, but I do not have them in my offroader and I don't want them, either.
Try going down and more import have to back down a very very steep hill that is loose sand or dirt. If your differential is locked steering becomes difficult if not impossible.
This is why the Jeep Rubicon comes with selective locking differentials.
Correct - if you think selectable lockers are not the way to go you don't go off road much. Have front and rear ARBs on my Jeep and love them. - Grit_dogNavigator

If I wanted round headlights on a vehicle, I'd buy a 49 Ford F-1, 63 Impala or 55 Bel Air....leave the round headlights in the past, please.
If I found the right deal, I'd have a pair of new round headlights in front of a 707hp supercharged 6.2 Hemi, aka Hellcat Challenger! - RCMAN46Explorer

Because one has to be a total moron to take a new truck serious offroading given what they cost. I've known more than one idiot who has done so one time in the woods here, then cried like a stuck pig when he found all the scratches in the clearcoat were not able to be buffed out.
I guess I am a total moron because I took my $65k MSRP truck off roading at the farm and at the deer lease within the first month I got it. My truck was bought to be a tool, not to look being pretty and clean in my driveway. There are no roads to where I need to set my hog traps and sometimes you just gotta make your own road through the brush or through a creek bed to get them where to need them. I don't cry about scratches(we can them Texas pin stripping) either. I generally find a new scratch when I wash the truck every three months or so. - twodownzeroExplorer

- Grit_dogNavigatorI can see it now.
“Ford re introduces the truck that defined off road! Presenting the all new 2020 F250 Highboy!”
(They should pay me for this stuff...)
Even better if they could lose the fugly grille and integrate a new front clip with retro round headlights etc. - Grit_dogNavigatorStill a goofy name.
With millions in advertising people and technology, could have come up with a better name.
Even something as cliche as “extreme” FX4 or something.
I know, how about a popular nostalgic name like Highboy??
