Great price on new heavy camper hauler

I bought mine a little over a year ago, Crew cab ST Diesel, 4x4, auto, chrome wheel covers, with blue tooth for less than 40K. When I bought mine there weren't any Dually s around Portland so I had to go to Idaho to get it. Go to some of the NW Ram dealers websites and you can still get a 2013 or 2014 3500 for less than 40K. Sure its the same across country.

Quincy Florida dealer had my truck . 2014 Dodge Tradesman , Cummins , 4 wheel drive , 4 door ,tow pak , elec winders , cruise , nice truck . $39,700 When I asked to see it , he said ,"let me make a copy of your drivers license ". I kinda said what the hell do you need my license at this point ,and then it got nasty . I sure wish that they would have been nicer , I would be driving a new truck !

$40,000 is a lot to pay for a bare bones truck. I paid $41,000 for a fully loaded GM Duramax with every option except the heated leather seats and GPS. It even included tow mirrors, chrome side step bumpers, bed liner, and the rear camera. One with the nav package and leather seats was selling at the time for $46,000.

If youre military or retired there is another $500 rebate so that drops it below $39k, not bad for a brand new CTD.

I couldnt tell by the add, but I'm sure it didn't have the Aisin. Although I think the 68 trans is pretty good and with the 4:10, there would be much less stress on the trans.
I'm finding around $9k to about $13k off new Rams depending on trim level.
About all I use my truck for is to carry my Lance so for me the Tradesman would be a perfect truck. Vinyl seats are easy to clean and now chrome to polish.
Its tempting but my 03 is in perfect cond with 87k mi and too many mods to think about.

The Dodge doesn't come with the Allison at any price.

The Chevy Allison is good to about 400HP then you need a different heavier Allison trans, just a cheapo Allison, who needs it, the Dodge does have the RR of diesels Cummins

That is a great price. I bought mine for $41,000, but mine did come with a lifetime warranty on the drivetrain.
