FCA needs to fix the junk they're selling now before introducing any new junk. I'm on the front lines with the junk every day, the Renegade will be the next nightmare.
There is a reason they live at the bottom of the satisfaction polls. The only thing I can figure is that Jim Jones is their national sales manager.
The sad part is that it is the same things over and over. Emissions and other electronics lead the list. Anybody sick of repeated service visits yet over repeated reflashs because they can't figure out how to make a trans shift properly, or a check engine light to stay off? The Cherokee has been particularly problematic. We have one that never made it home 30 miles away after delivery, and has been back several times since. Cylinder heads are being replaced constantly on the 3.6 for guess what? Check engine lights! C'mon man!
BTW I bought my older Dodge for the engine, not the box it came in. It'll be a Fummins before it's all over.
Sounds like a C'mon man moment!- 4x4ordExplorer IIIWhat I would like to see from Ram is complely redesigned sheet metal on the HD pickups. They really haven't changed the look of thiertruck much in the past 20 years.

Say what? Yes the new (maybe) Ram 700 is built off the Fiat Strada line. So what is your point? The 1500-5500 are not. :R
Small pickups like the old Dakota, Colorado and to a lesser extent the Ranger make no sense if they don't yield great fuel milage!
The new Colorado makes 20 City 27 highway 21 combined for the 2.5 I4 4X2 and 17 24 21 V6 4X4. Nothing to write home about. I can't find any info for the baby duramax as for fuel mileage.
But unless a mid size truck tops out over the 30 MPG mark why would anyone bother buying it? I looked at the new Colorado at the auto show and will say it's a nice truck. Way overpriced for the market it is in IMO $30K+ up to $48K if you opt for the Dmax :E ! You can get a loaded up 1500 for that money and still get the same fuel mileage! Yes you can buy a stripper 4X2 in the low $20K range but how many buy stripper models?
Nope IMO mid size pickups make no sense whatsoever. The old small Ranger, S10/S15 and Dakota pickups yes, the newer mid sized ones...nope just plan dumb IMO
Don - Perrysburg_DodgExplorerThe Rebel was Officially unveiled at the NAIAS or the Detroit Auto Show.
Small pickup maybe the Ram 700 there were reports of them driving around Michigan. The other possibility is a Wagoner.
Don - goducks10ExplorerThey're bringing back the Rampage.
- IndyCampExplorerA new RAM Neon with the the 2.0L 4-cylinder?
I know some idiots who might actually buy that. If you only use your truck for cruising the malls to pick up young chicks, do you really need more than 132 hp? Bionic Man wrote:
