That was one of the most entertaining threads I've read in a long time.
When I was going on and on with Jungle he mentioned that it's giving us something to talk about. :) It's not over yet, we now need to work through getting the next TT :)
Sometimes some of this stuff does seem crazy or silly but from others perspective it may give them ideas or help them in selling or buying or whatever. I always figure there are no bad posts as long as it isn't screaming at each other or calling names. We all get torqued at times but......
Ah! You finally understand me Daniel Son. LOL! I Love me a good discussion, as long as it is respectful and engaging. - jungleexplorerExplorer

The O RV series look pretty good. Features like four gc2 battery trays and wired for 500 watts solar.

My son and I shopped last winter for a large bunk TT and couldn't find anything that wasn't water damaged. He found an 2013 Open Range at Hoovers (Houston), I then went to look at it and found water damage. There was one little tell tale sign along a piece of bedroom trim. After looking at the roof I could only assume it was coming from around the AC. He then returned to look again with me and pulled on the trim and found black mold and that the upper panel was sort of soft.
I then wasted a day by going to PPL where they had the same 2013 O R with the same water damaged area but much worse. That damaged in the open range at hoovers could have easily been missed by many people. I looked at an Open Range (2014 or 2015 ?) with a badly water damaged slide. Looked like it wicking into a very poorly designed lower joint area. Look real closely under slides
I wish I could find one of the Outdoor RV within a 1000 miles of me. They all seem to be way up north in Montana and Idaho. What do you know about the Northwood Fox Creek? Is it anything like the Arctic Fox construction wise. I found one that has a really different floor plan that I love. The only floor plan like this I have seen.

Be sure to take a wad of cash with you - just in case the seller is demanding payment on the spot....
I would never consider even walking out my door to look at something unless I had the money in the bank to buy it. I do my shopping online. When I show up at your house, it is to buy. I thought I made that clear. LOL!
I will tell you this though. If I never sell another RV again in my life, it will be too soon. I bet I showed it 15 times and deal with 500 questions via text, email and on the phone since I listed it on Friday. It was an all consuming full time job. What a nightmare. Now my truck was completely different. Got one call, showed it one time, and bam! Cash in my hand.
It just seems to me a lot of people toy with the idea of buying a TT, but are not really ready to fork over the cash to buy one. Never again will I subject myself to this if I have a choice. It is very frustrating and tiring. That guy offered me $4,750 and I was so greatful to be done with this I almost hugged him. I was so thankful I said "let's round it to $4,700 even and call it a deal".
lmao
That's how it is when it's free. Did he have a surprised look on his face when you not only didn't counter but came down 50 more? That's funny - jungleexplorerExplorer
