I don't find Ford Truck Forum heavily moderated if you don't make stuff up like this ...
Fiat is actually failing, sales are awful.. Not exactly taking over.
Most diesels are ok now even with emissions, but they still aren't perfect.
I bet you don't see heavy moderation on this forum neither?
That's the beauty of dictatorship - all evidence vanish without a trace.
I was posting facts about diesel on FTE and after one of stronger replies, 7 forum moderators visited my profile. How is that for no moderation?
If you read the link you provided - Fiat sold 26,492 vehicles in USA last year. Not bad for country where 10 years ago everybody was saying "you will never see me in 1 of those"
I was driving twin Fiat 126 about 40 years ago.
It was consider "poor man vehicle" in communistic Poland at the time.
Now, coming back to topic- diesels are not cheap to buy from US manufacturers, while back in 1998 diesel engine in Mercedes E-class was the cheapest version available in USA.
Tell me that $8000 premium for diesel by Ford and others is not politically motivated?
So would diesel sell for their actuall value like they do in Europe, nobody would ever want gasoline truck.
