O'Reilly's F53 belts - MountainAir05Explorer IIJust tell them what you need and maybe they will have it. If you can get a number off the old belt, better yet.
12593777, 4892519AA, 8125937770, 94584110
length 69 inches and this is with Air Condition.
They only list one without air pump. - MrWizardModeratorA/C ? or smog air pump ?
i think you need to goto the parts store and get the smog pump
or engine is not going to run correctly
dang computer will keep trying to correct the smog emmissions - RLS7201Explorer IIGuys, the belt I need will not be listed at any parts store. 460 F53s were not manufactured with out a Air Injector Reactor (smog) pump.
I need a shorter belt than listed for a standard 460 F53, just to run the alternator and water pump.
Yes My MH will run correctly with out the AIR. My stroker engine has a tuner added to the EEC-IV engine control computer.
I know Geocritter is running a 460 with out AIR, so he may know the belt I need.
Richard - K_CharlesExplorerTake the vanes out of the pump and leave the pump and pulley on.
- Take a piece of light rope or twine and measure the length by wrapping it around the pullies.
- Dutch_12078Explorer IIIn case anyone else runs into the problem, as Richard now knows from another forum post, the correct belt appears to be a 47.5" Dayco #5060475 or equivalent 6-rib belt.
460 air pump delete - what belt?? - RLS7201Explorer II

Dutch, I just found the belt lay out for a 95 F350 460 and you are nuts on! The A/C & PS pump are different but the alternator & AIR look the same.
Thank again

Yep, that works!
I had to do that on a 460 in a 1995 Tioga (E350 chassis) when the A/C clutch pulley bearings seized. It worked. - John_JoeyExplorer

That's an old school trick. The only thing you need to make sure is the adjustment pulley is not all the way out.
