1999 Holiday Rambler Endeavor 5.9 cummins won't crank.
Hi everyone. I've got a new problem on my coach that is pretty interesting. Here goes. I have a 99 holiday rambler endeavor diesel pusher with the 5.9 cummins. Turn the key and the starter won't do anything, not even a click.
So far, we have checked the batteries, all cables, fuses, ignition switch and relays. The fuel pump won't run and the engine won't crank. I believe these two things are caused by the same thing.
We did get it to crank by using a starter switch directly to the starter, and got it to run. Shut it off, and again the key does nothing. There is no power to the wire on the starter solenoid. Also, the transmission is definitely in Neutral with the "N" lit up on the shift pad.
Any ideas? Also, can anyone here recommend a good diesel repair shop(not cummins, they are $580 minimum to do anything). Thanks in advance.
