2004 BT Cruiser

Just purchased a 2004 BT Cruiser. The electrical outlets are not working. I tried to reset the GFI plug but nothing changed. I am having problems identifying which fuse to check to see if that changes anything.

Anyone have any ideas on how to proceed?
  • I had that situation and could not track it down at first. Problem was with an external relay to the coach power disconnect switch.

couple of places to look for the converter and its associated 120VAC and 12VDC Power Distribution centers..

    2004 BT Cruiser Google Photo...

Check under the fridge behind the panel shown here...

Also look under the bed panel you see in the photo. Something is mounted on the panel under the bed...

Have you checked to make sure you have power at the outlet that you are plugging shore power into?
  • My MH has 2 gfi. One in bath and one above and to right of kitchen sink. MH has 50 amp shore power.
  • I will check the exterior to see if there is an outlet there.

    Thanks.
  • If you have pressed the reset button on all the gfci outlets inside, check to see if there is also an exterior outlet.

This happened to us with our class B Van. Called the factory, and they reminded us there was another one to check.
  • Main power in from the plug in. That goes to circuit breakers. One breaker will feed your converter. Other breakers will feed 120 volt fridge and GFCI plugs, outside plugs and counter plugs.

Usually breakers are right beside 12 volt fuses, perhaps behind a plastic panel.
  • Didn't see any circuit breakers. I will look again. Thanks.
  • 120 volt power is controlled by circuit breakers. Reset all of them box with circuit breakers.
