- the_silverbackExplorerYes, I have Allied. Yes, I made a claim. Couldn't be happier. Excellent service from Allied!!!!!
- Y-GuyModeratorI cant comment much about Allied, but we've been with Blue Sky going on 3 years now, back when we went with Blue Sky we had it quoted out with several others, Allied was one of them. Blue Sky's rates beat them all, prior to them we'd been with Regressive and they jacked our rates up with no claims at all. I've since had a claim with Blue Sky and no rate increase, great service too.

I could not be happier... - JC2ExplorerOne of the things that we do every year is review the insurance policy for our rv. (2) years ago we changed from Progressive(worthless) to Blue Sky at a 50% reduction in premium and more coverage. Might give them a call. We've not had Allied so can't comment + or -.
http://www.blueskyrvinsurance.com/about-us/ - faucet1ExplorerI really appreciate all of your responses. I have to renew today/or replace my policy. I have no reason to distrust this company as yet, being I have only had coverage for the past year through Brown and Brown of Kentucky(previously Gilbert of Orlando, FL) with no claims. I suppose I might try them for another year. Again, thank you very much for your help.
David - discovery4usExplorerI have allied and have had a windshield (no cost to me) and an awning claim (replacement cost minus my deductible) and have no complaints in three years. I have compared to others each of the last three years and so far haven't found a better price for my policy.
- msmith1199Explorer III worked for a short time as an insurance adjuster many years ago. I worked for an independent adjusting company so we handled claims for a lot of companies. One thing I can tell you is no insurance company ever told me to low ball a claim or try and rip a policy holder off. The instructions were always to pay what's fair and we did that. Now on the customer side, I never had a policy holder that didn't try and rip off the insurance company! Okay, that's an exaggeration, many claimants were just fine and only asked for what they were legitimately owed. But that was maybe 30% of the people. In up to 70% of the claims people think they hit the lotto and the insurance company owes them millions! And when you don't give them millions, they claim you are the one ripping them off! So when you hear people complaining about their insurance company, just keep that in mind. And it's also the reason insurance companies make you jump through so many hoops when you file a claim. They want to double check and make sure everything is legit.
- kedanieExplorer IIWe have Allied and have not had any real problems. I bumped the roof over hang and punched a hole in the rear cap to the tune of around $6k. The only problem was an aggressive estimator that ended up getting fired. We also have lost 2 windshields that were replaced at no cost to us. Our rates went up a little after the house incident but that was my fault so no real complaints. So far, they have paid out more in claims than I have paid in premiums.
Keith - gsf35099ExplorerI have had Allied for about 5 years and they have been great for me. I hit a mule deer couple years back on the Texas - Mexico boarder and called them the next day. No police report because I was in the middle of nowhere. Front of coach was pretty bad but drivable. Drove the 9 hours home and within 2 days had an estimate and coach was in shop getting repaired. Damaged was little more than $6k and they paid right up. Even after the amount was higher due to unseen damage.
I have been real pleased with them and their rates with me are one of the best. I always shop around for insurance each year and found the coverage it inline with all other RV insurers.
