We just fell in love with a Itasca suncruiser, 34'. 181K marked down to 139K.good?1) is the ford V-10 good?2)what mpg can i reasonably expect?3) We will be in the south so would like to register it in Texas. good? bad? alternative?I have a million qyestions but would like info from owners or from anybody with a class-A for that matter.Thanks,You guys always come thru for me and I greatly appriciated of that.Nels

Can't answer the price, but it's a good engine, except for fuel economy. Where it isn't. Between 7 and 10 MPG, depending on speed, hills, etc.

V10 - GREAT, MPG - 6 to 7.5, texas good to register

What year-- there WERE improvements in the Ford chassis over the years.And, ASSUME the 181K down to 139K is price, not mileage.

It's a 2015 new and the price is 139k. Any problems with the trans? Will be towing a 2013 Journey.

The trany would be the 5R110, which is a fairly great trany.As for tow-rating for your toad, not a clue.

Have a 2014 suncruiser. Gets about 9mpg at 55 mph.You should be able to buy it for around 130K.Pretty sure you have to dolly that Journey to bring along with you.
Engine is strong and tranny winds a little but still very reliable.

I've seen the 2015 37ft model advertised at La Mesa for 139, (even one for 129) think for a 34ft you can do better.

You should check out La Mesa RV online. They are offering large savings on Itasca Motorhomes. Print it out and take it to any dealer, Giant RV did a price match in 5 minutes. They all can do it, they just don't want too....

as of this writing..ford is the only choice...rumors that workhorse will start production sometime...so if you are buying new class a gas..you are limited to ford...but after saying that...do the maintenance...you will have fun....

the main thing is in texas..pick your campground on a hill...don't get caught in a flood...and take your time getting to your destination and have fun!!

V10 is a great engine. Transmission is great too. Without a toad 55-60mph I get about 8.5mpg. Going to tow a car on a dolly for the first time with this rv tomorrow.

I suspect you will be limited to 5,000 lbs towing. The V10 is a workhorse, no pun intended.

I have not seen that a 2013 Dodge Journey can be towed 4 down.
