- Harvey51ExplorerMy flasher failure affected both the emergency flashers and the signal lights.
- Da-nomadExplorerThanks again, we think the problem is solved as the result of the wires being pinched. Hopefully that will do it, we'll see.
- j-dExplorer IIIs your Trailer/Toad Wiring Harness Shorted/Grounded/Pinched?
The mod above is for the Turn Signals. I doubt (but I'm not sure) that the Turn Flasher also serves Four-Way flashers. - Da-nomadExplorerThank you for all the info. We are still trying to figure this out.
I turned my emergency flashers on to check. They were flashing, then they stopped flashing but the lights were on. Turned the switch off, but the tail lights & brakes lights stay on. I have disconnected the the flasher, multifunction, and brake lt. switches...they are still on. - Harvey51ExplorerI changed mine a year ago. It was a stubby metal cylinder, diameter similar to a quarter. It was somewhere just above the steering column all right. A little on the right side, I think. The replacement was a clear plastic stubby cylinder with electronic parts inside.
- My_RoadtrekExplorerMoved to Class C from CVC.
- SuperDutyFiverExplorerI'm thinking it's a 4-way cube flasher mounted up above the steering column on an 04 but I'm not certain-would look like a black relay in a plug base if I'm right.
