Outside entertainment center

Ask the dealer who sells them or has one on the lot. Should be able to tell you, that or call the manufacturer.

Actually, the thread topic is "outside entertainment centers." That is a very general title, thus the explanation for varied responses. Appropriateness of outside centers certainly falls into that very general subject matter. But it's your party, I am just here to learn something.

And certainly not anything here requiring a moderator to remove posts over.

Here's what the OP said.

We have been looking to upgrade, and have been looking at both the Itasca Suncruiser and Winnebago Adventurer. Can anyone tell me if on the 2013 or 2014, if the outside entertainment center with 32" television also contains a radio. I do not see any speakers that indicate so. On the Sunova and Sightseer there are speakers and a radio in addition to the television.

What about that speaks of the appropriateness of outside entertainment? Where was that invitation given?

I've only gotten smiles and compliments from neighbors when we use our TV outside. Everyone seems to understand why we're all there. Not sure where some of the detractors camp but I have yet to meet an unfriendly RVer, whether at a RV park or state park.

We have a 2013 Itasca Sunstar and it has both 32" TV and AM/FM/CD player. Yes we use both.

Just my own personal observation, but I agree that most "RV parks" do not allow campfires, but most "campgrounds" do. Maybe he's been straying into the low-brow world of the tent camper and class C family style camping. :E

Another personal observation, but there seems to be a lot of judging as to how people should be allowed to enjoy themselves while camping on this thread. I think if you pull into a CG that is open to the public, you should allow the others that have done the same the right to enjoy it as they see fit, within reason of course. I think an outside tv or radio set at a reasonable level is well within somebody's rights to enjoy if that's what they want to do with their free time. (By the way, I don't have either.)

Sorry for making this thread stray even more.

I was not sure when we bought ours if we would use the TV or stereo. Since having it we usually watch the news, maybe listen to some radio, and after dinner play a movie for the kids. Never had a complaint of it being to loud, we play just audible enough to hear it. There is entertainment all over, the pool, the lake, horseshoes, etc. A good mix of the outdoors and modern conveniences works for us.

To sit and listen to birds chirp and crickets crick (?) all night...I'd probably fall asleep in my bowl of prunes. :P

To do what you guys want to do is a lot of fun, having a big bun fire and everybody around it joking with lots of laughter. But there are places where this is just not allowed. You have to go out in remote area's where you will not smoke your neighbor out.

I was in a regular RV park one time and my wife and I were listening to music, and it was real low volume on the radio, when all of a sudden a neighbor come up to me an told me to turn the radio off because they liked no sound at all around them. I told them I could barely hear the radio being next to it and it caused a big argument which ended up in the managers office. As it turned out I was ok having the music. But our neighbor who was leasing the spot got so mad she threaten to break the lease and drove off. LOL
