Rain in forecast not sure what to do

We were gone ten days over the forth.. Rain forecast several times. Perhaps it rained a tenth of an inch one night. Glad we did not change our minds.

And we have gone when it has rained day after day but always found something to do.

My dear Mother used to tell the DW & I to go camping because her garden needed the rain. Some things you just get use to. Don't like it, just get use to.

My post comes from running a business myself not that disimilar from a CG i.e. limited space, limited season, people making a reservation then not showing up for whatever reason. No call. Nothing. Business turned away assuming they would show.

Taking a credit card number & charging if they no showed without a good reason put a stop to that.

Really you sound like your yelling at me just asked for advise chill out your very obnoxious

One thing to do is distinguish between a forecast of showers vs. a general rainstorm with rain forecast for many hours straight. Both can drop the same amount of rain. A showery storm can drop that half inch of rain in an hour and you will have 23 hours per day of non rain.

Camping in the rain in an RV is easy. You always have a warm and secure place to retreat. Bring some books. Get outside and bring rain gear. In a small rig, making coffee is all you need to warm it up. To me it like having a fort as a little kid.

If people in the PNW didn't camp in the rain, they would just stay home all the time.
