Cable tv
Have a cable problem , when I hook up to rv park cable, I get a snowey picture , have checked all connections they are tight, also power booster turned off. Any ideas

- Badly crimped cable end, cable insulation striped by pulling through a small opening, too many splitters, BOMB connectors need cleaning.
I keep a small wire brush in the compartment with the cable and clean the park connector when I plug in. - Did you do a scan for CABLE channels on your TV?

Siggy- Verify that the cables is what you think it is.
Check continuity as it could be miss marked. - Might be that is all the better the campground system works. Ask neighbors about their picture before doing much work to your things. Yes, I have seen all kinds of issues in campgrounds.

You could also route a cable from the campground connection directly to the TV to see if signal is good.- I am thinking that the cables are miss marked or on some rigs you must move a cable from satellite input to cable input behind the TV.
- The wire inside or at the external connection is bad. You will have to replace every connection to solve the problem. I strongly recommend using the compression type F connectors. It is what all of the professionals use. You do need a special tool to install them.
- Had the exact same problem in Bridgeport, CA. We had stayed at that park previously. Last time, no cable. Turns out the local provider went out of business, but the park still had cable advertised on their website.
Check with the manager.
