Just a couple comments to the above:

Setting our sedan's AC tstat to a lower temperature does "feel like" it's cooling the car interior faster - cuz the A/C's circulation fan runs at a faster initial speed if the AC is set to a lower temperature when first getting into a hot car.

FWIW, our home's heat pump system does cool the home faster when we set it to cooler setting because both the variable speed circulation fan and variable speed Scroll compressor run at a higher speeds.

I would run it in "auto". That way as soon as you have shore power it will switch to 120 volt. When you unplug it will switch to "LP".

Ok, it’s still on elect, will switch to gas before we leave

I would leave it on 4. Then check it after you load it up ready for the road. Then decide whether to keep it on four or make an adjustment.

Well I’m a rookie, I checked it this morning on setting 4 and it was 36... now will it continue to get colder or is this pretty much where it will stay on 4

See? You were worried about nothing. Question. WHY would you put the refer on setting 3, instead of setting 5(Max cold) when starting out? I would think you would want to verify MAX cold at first. Doug
