Who did that Turtel? All I said was it's output is the same or near the same as my 2004 5.9 not the mileage! Nothing could touch the older 2003/2004 5.9 HO for fuel mileage in the truck market! Go back and re-read it if you must. :R

No V-8 diesel can make better mileage than the in-line Cummins. The output ratings for the 5.0 V8 Cummins are what my 2004 5.9 were but without the fuel mileage.

What mileage is the new Nissan going to get and how do you know it will be less than your 5.9? The truck isn't even on the market yet?

If you know what kind of mileage this new truck is going to get post up a link for us all to read.

Someone is drunk if they put the "same" tranny in this truck as a medium duty truck. Either the designers or the people that are saying Nissan is going to do this. Much like putting a class 8 rear end in my 2500 pickup. Someone is crazy; I just don't know who yet? :B
