In need of some opinions and the next step
My Wife and are in our 60s and 70s and we decided to purchase a 2019 No Boundaries, Forest River at Camping World in Fresno, California. On the first initial tour of the TT It went so fast that there were a few things we missed. So we bought it with a AS IS, No warranty. So we purchased the TT because as far as what they did show us, it was a nice TT and with CampingWorld being a big reputable company we were convinced that the TT couldn't have been but a few hundred to fix, if ever we actually needed to fix whatever we would find down the road or on a quiet, beautiful and relaxing weekend. Ok, with that being told. This is where the story goes down hill. I purchased this TT on 1/20/26. While I was getting everything hooked up to tow out of their facility. I noticed that there were service guys trying to slam shut the door of the TT. So I went over to where they were and asked them what was wrong and they were trying to shut the door and that they couldn't get it shut. So they tried to fix it with some tools and they finally got it to closed (red flag moment)so to make it short. We waited for another 2hrs for them to fix the door. At my wife's approval, for her to be able to get in and out safely. So we brought it home and parked it on our property. Went to load up for a trip this weekend and .y wife's says, babe there's a hump in the floor as to which I said NNOOOOOO WWWAYYY🤔🤨😡🥺🥺MIXED EMOJIS. YES we waited 4.5 months to report it and only because I work alot of hours and we barely even stepped into the TT. So this being our first actual time stepping into the TT we never ever noticed that there was indeed a hump in the floor. This is what I have done so far and would love some truthful suggestions 1. Ive contacted Camping World in Fresno Ca and still waiting for a call back from the service Depts Supervisor. 2. I've documented all of the previous preexisting damage. 3. In the process of trying to get a Good Sam insurance report to come out to my house and just give me an honest opinion of what I should do going forward TIA...Kevin Rodrigues138Views0likes15Comments2006 Fleetwood pioneer travel trailer

Please any info would be helpful, and thanks for your time and expertise. I'm soon to be traveling around.154Views0likes3CommentsNew to full time Rv life- Nervous, Grateful, Learning
Hey everyone, I’m new here and new to full-time RV life. I’m a single dad traveling with my two sons (9 & 11), homeschooling on the road, and figuring this lifestyle out one lesson at a time. I’ll be honest—I’m excited, but I’m also nervous. This is a leap of faith for us. My goal is simple: give my kids a freer life, more time together, and experiences they’ll remember long after the miles fade. A little about me: I was wrongfully convicted as a teenager, sent to death row at 16, and later exonerated. Because of that, I don’t take freedom or time lightly. This journey feels like reclaiming both—for myself and for my boys. I’m here to learn from those who’ve been doing this longer than me. Budgeting on the road, choosing routes and weather wisely, internet setups, and how to avoid rookie mistakes—I’m open to it all. Literally, I know nothing! lol If you had to give one piece of advice you wish you knew when you started full-timing, what would it be? And if you’ve traveled with kids, what helped you keep things sane and sustainable? Thanks for having us. Looking forward to learning from this community.152Views0likes2CommentsSales Tax
Hello, having a weird edge case situation on paying sales tax on new to me TT. TL;DR Sales tax was charged on a casual sale of used TT from non business living trust to me. Tag office cites non existent laws that all trusts are entities thus all are business/dealers. I plan to appeal to GA DOR and or Tribunal as its ridiculous. I am in GA. Trailer was sold to me by a living trust that for legal sake did not engage in any business nor held the TT for commercial reasons and it was stipulated on the BOS. The tag office has slapped me with a big sales tax(few thousand as its a quality TT) as trust = entity = dealer. Note this isnt TAVT but specifically a sales tax on a trailer. What im struggling with is that you cant just blanket call all trusts a "dealer" and skirt the whole casual sale exemption as for all intents and purposes thats what it was. Georgia law is very clear on its definition of a "dealer/business" and this is not it. I cant find any Georgia law that also blanket cover all "entities or trusts" as dealers. Only thing I see that sales tax only applies if the sale of tangible property was done by an entity engaged in business which this living trust isnt. I wanted to post here to see if people ever tried to appeal similar or exact situation because this situation simply ludicrous. If folks are experienced with GA law ill take specific statutes that either support or take apart my case.322Views0likes9Comments50 amp outlet/surge protector voltage error
First time, I apologize for the long post. I hope I can get some insight, because I am completely lost. I have an outlying shop that I installed a 50 amp outlet to using a 50 amp box with 6/3 copper wire. Testing it with a multimeter I get 120 on each leg and 240 combined, as well as 120 from the main breaker and 50 amp breaker. However, when I plug in my 50 amp surge protector it shows an error of "E2: Voltage over 132V". The weird thing is, when I plug my protector into a 50/30 dog bone with the 15 adapter the surge protector turns on with no issue showing 119V so I dont believe it's the protector. Any suggestions would be appreciated because after checking and changing neutrals and grounds and checking the same things over and over, I have no idea the next step and I really dont want to spend thousands having a company wire something in. TIA. For context I have a new GEARGO RV-04 50 amp surge protector.283Views1like8CommentsIdentify water heater
Looking at a used 2010 K-Z trailer. The owner passed away and his family is trying to sell it. But the owner's son and I couldn't get the water heater to work. Can anyone tell me where I could find information on this water heater and how to operate it? Thanks528Views1like9Comments
