The only promblem I see you having is it will wrinkle up on you,Not being stretched . especially if your in different seasons hot/cold.
Brad nails won't hold up long.
But it looks like you did a good job.Just hope for the best .
Actually, the brads hold very well. Tested them on the old carpet before I ripped it out. Worst case scenario, I pull it back and glue it down. - carpetguy2ExplorerThe only promblem I see you having is it will wrinkle up on you,Not being stretched . especially if your in different seasons hot/cold.

REAL nice job! :B The inside of your MH looks like brand new!
I need to do that this weekend I was going to just cut it out and wondering how I would attach the new one up to the edges. Thinking quarter round etc. Because I was NOT going to take anything out to do it!
Did you just snug it up to the cabinets and staple it?
yes, I cut it even to the edges and used a brad driver to secure the edges where needed. With the brad driver it was easy to move the carpet fibers aside so I didn't pull any fibers down and make pucker marks. - gboppExplorer

Excellent job.
Was it difficult and, did you use the old carpet as a pattern?
Hardest part was getting the old stuff (carpet, padding, and MANY staples} out! Made a paper pattern with a roll of heavy brown paper I found at walmart.
Thanks, good to know. - rockhillmanorExplorerREAL nice job! :B The inside of your MH looks like brand new!
