Maybe someone is trying to "gaslight" you.... Even as I'm writing this I'm thinking that many will be too young to even have a clue what I'm talking about. It's an inside joke to those who are a bit beyond too young to remember. Google it if you have any curiosity and ignore it if you don't.

Those big old Green ACME nuts can have issues.....

They can leak from crimped fitting, they can fail to allow propane flow due to bad excess flow check valve (or from opening cylinder valve too fast), they can leak due to bad seal and they can crack but they DON'T unscrew themselves

Is somebody "borrowing" your propane? Is that side the side away from the house? Is your next door neighbor a clown? Is another poster on this thread too old to post a link to "gaslighting"? Inquiring minds want to know.

I'm the youngest of 11 brothers. We used to try to "gaslight" my mother telling her things like "you said we could stay out late" or "there's no school today it's a teacher work day". She'd always catch on and respond with, "You think I'm crazy, I'll show you crazy!!!" This is when corporal punishments were acceptable for parents of 11 boys. Some of my fondest memories are of my mother chasing my brothers with broomsticks, rolling pins, shoes.... We loved the summers when she would turn the garden hose on them!!! Being the youngest I was spared because they should have known better. Brothers got even though! My parents lived with DW and I for over 20 years when they got older.

I admit. Its me. I've been using your tanks to grill chicken. Sometimes when I bring them back, I have to leave in a hurry because somebody's coming. Sorry.

By the way. That left one is getting low. I have a Super Bowl party this weekend. Please get it filled.
