- Hjudge49ExplorerFlower girl, the OP will never be happy with this coach, even if it is totally repaired. If he trades it or sells it, whoever buys it should be able to see that it has been repaired, and should be able to buy it for a whole lot less than new. If it is repaired correctly, it can be a good coach for someone else.
- FlowergirlExplorerI am sad that so many of you say 'trade' it or 'sell' it. You do know that you are causing another poor soul to go thru a nightmare. I don't know what the answer is to solve these problems but it just seems so cruel to pass a problem of this magnitude on to another buyer. Why would you do this to a fellow RVer, especially one that might be new to this great lifestyle. I wish there was another way.
- Executive45Explorer IIII read it on the internet so I know it's true.....:S:S......Dennis

We have to keep in mind we are normally dealing with sales/marketing types, most don't have a clue on processes. I watched a production marketing video praising their process, only some of the glue jets were clogged, who knows how many units were produced improperly.

Well if they cant afford a lawyer they are certainly purchasing the wrong price range Coach! But maybe .. they did mention a 20 year Loan!! Personally I believe this must be a tactic .If they get a lawyer all this nonsense comes to a stop for a few months!! Any Lawyer worth his salt would have a heart attack at this thread .......Its a big risk but who knows ? he says they have agreed to a resolution by the 15th. personally Im hoping it works out even with his unreasonable requests. They are dumb enough to manufacture (thor) and Sell (CW) this stuff maybe they are dumb enough to Give in ;-) (don't get me wrong! they should give his money back and say goodbye but thats it !! He'll never be satisfied and will be bad news as a customer .. I know I would!)
Before this Thread I was aware of Thor's problems, Buyer beware just google palazzo as the OP was aware!!, I have owned Thor products in the past. They served me at the time but Ive since wised up and moved on to higher quality products. never say never but .... I'm pretty sure I'm just a roadside crash spectator here :-) I just can't stop looking here.LOL
All I can do is LOL myself about this whole fiasco. It is so funny. But I keep being told that the Thor Palazzo is the Number 1 selling DP in the US. Well, if that is the case there will be a few bad apples in the bunch. I got one of those bad apples. Do you guys really think the Thor Palazzo is the number 1 selling DP in the US? This is what I am being told.
In addition to what I have learned was that Thor acquired the Monaco Factory in Wakarusa IN. About the same time my coach was being built, this transition was taking place. There might be some inherent issues with that whole process of switching factories.
I don't know where you got that? Thor is the "largest " with over 20 different brands, including the Palazzo. making more RV's makes them number one from a volume perspective. However they also make TT & Fivers. A lot from acquisition. The problem is #1 doesn't mean anything other than gross sales. It doesn't mean they're the best by any measure.
However I've not heard the "palazzo" is the the number one selling MH. The fleetwood Excursion would be a much better choice than the Palazzo. Can you provide a link with that statement? It would be a interesting read.
CW and Thor have told me this. Maybe I heard them wrong. "The Palazzo is the #1 selling diesel pusher in the US." Hey, maybe I am being a little too hard on those guys.

Think they also named Tiffin the "#1 Motorhome Manufacturer".

Well, it looks like the front cabinets are not attached correctly. Do I win? :)
Also, I'm sorry to see you have had to go through this whole ordeal. Hopefully by the 15th, all will be right with the world.
Happy New Year!

Drop down bunk appears to be racked. This happened 2x on our first ACE. It was eventually replaced.
Yup, was surprised to see that they are taking pictures of one they are trying to sale. I'm sure who ever took and posted those pictures thought absolutely nothing of it. This seems to be the mentality in the RV industry. IMHO that's just as bad as taking a picture of a brand new car with a flat tire and trying to sale it that way. - EffyExplorer II
