Newbie, what makes me nervous
we had a 28' class C for a year and then decided to go with a 5th wheel. purchased a Outback 32' along with a F350 long bed truck to pull with.
we've been on 3 relatively short trips. I don't have a bit of trouble pulling. my concerns and "things that make me nervous" are, in no particular order, low hanging trees; this thing is sooooo much taller than the C. already ripped the antenna out had to re-attach. avoiding interstates makes sense to me, less traffic, semi's etc. while avoiding the interstates I'm also avoiding Pilot and Flying J truck stops which allow me plenty of room to pull and get fuel. speaking of fuel, trying to first find a station that has diesel and then finding a station that has fuel and gives me plenty of room to get in and out. backing that thing up, I'm getting better, practice practice, practice.
not sure what I'm looking for here, guess its mainly my observations as a newbie.
safe travels!
