- MEXICOWANDERERExplorerYeah!
A 40' diesel pusher descending Lombard Street.
Older mechanical fuel pumps had a built in non return valve. Back when Tyrannosaurs roared, I was fitting Stewart Warner electric pumps to Winnebago's when the standard pumps threw in the towel on steep mountain passes. - burningmanExplorer II**conjures up mental image of a motorhome on a steep San Francisco street, jacked up enough to level it**

It is a fuel solenoid. Early motorhomes had park-on-a-hill fuel drainback ithues. Some used a solenoid others a non-return valve. Moral: Avoid San Francisco. - burningmanExplorer IIIt's not a "fuel injector", you have a carbureted engine.
It could be a number of things, I can't make it out in the video.
It could be an electric fuel pump, or a shut-off solenoid.
I doubt it is a fuel tank selector valve because it has pressure when you crank the motor, the tank selector wouid be before the pump - unless you have in-tank pumps.
I tried, but I just can't see the thing. - As Mr. Wizard said, degrease the part and send us another photo of it from different angles. I thought maybe a fuel line selector , but only see one line in and one line out.
