Hydraulic Pump

We had to do this on the in-laws Montana this spring. It clearly stated not to run the motor in reverse. In and out was controlled by the solenoids. It also stated to use the 9 volt battery out of the smoke detector to energize the proper solenoid to make it go where you wanted it to. The instructions were all very clear in the owners manual.

Track down your manual and read it. It seams as though there are a few different ways to accomplish this task. Make sure you have the right one or you could damage the system

It will work just like the manual says. However, if you are moving all your slides and your landing gear it will take a long time. You will also probably have to have someone holding the switch to energize the correct solenoids. The time I used mine it took a second battery on my drill just to get the slides in as my landing gear is electric.

My pump is the same way, two inches from a wall. I was thinking about moving the pump to a better position so I can get to the end of the motor with a drill.

I tested it in my driveway before I might really need it. The first issue that I had was that the manual said to remove a sticker from the end of the pump and insert a hex bit. However, the way my pump was mounted there was less than 2 inches to a wall. After two hours rotating the pump, two of the bolts were out of sight and had to be done by feel, I finally had it aligned at an angle that allowed me to try it. It worked fine especially if, as was mentioned, you close the valves, if available, and do one slide at a time. The key is to try it when it is convenient not at night in a campground in the middle of a rainstorm which would be my luck.

I had to do this when my hydraulic motor went bad. Easy to do, the slides move easy and faster if you close the valves and do one slide at a time.

I have not tried it. Yes it will retract and run your slide out. But you have to use a reverseable drill to run the pump. As for the jacks I don't know.My set up has 3 valves that I can control each slide separate if I needed or of course all at once.My system is a Lippert system look on your pump get the info and search your unit.Good luck

Depends on your pump, check your owners manual. Mine doesn't work with a drill but has a hand lever pump backup.
