You said in your above post that you had throttle body injection(TBI). Chevy switched to direct fuel injection in 1996. But you could have an older chassis with a TBI which will have lower fuel pressure. If you remove the air cleaner and you see a two fuel jets and see gas squirting out off each jet when you step on the gas you have a TBI. Just something too make sure off before you drop the tank.
