Beware of Arizona Saguaro Cactus

Last year traveling through Florida we spotted a series of cameras along with a large sign on the highway that they were monitoring license plates....HERE is that earlier topic.

I guess Arizona is going to take it a step further but not warn anyone their picture is being taken....Here is a link to that story.

    If I drive past one of the cameras and my license plate is read, why do the police need to know that my vehicle went down that road?


    Are you on a secret mission driving down the road in a stealth vehicle and nobody is supposed to see you there? Police patrols have existed for decades. Every time a police officer sees you driving down the road he knows where you are. Are you opposed to officers looking out their windows too?

    Mr. Filippidis was stopped for speeding and tailgating, NOT ALR. Furthermore, the officer testified he observed the CCW permit in Mr. Filippidis' wallet as he searched for his driver's license. This began the conversation with him and the failed corroboration from his wife.

    Was he speeding as the officer testified??? Here is what Mr. Filippidis had to say relative to the incident in an interview with the press...."He did say he may have been going a little over the speed limit, and his wife was confused about the whereabouts of his gun."..:S.....case closed....Dennis

    Since THAT story was over a YEAR AND A HALF old, perhaps you have a follow up story.....maybe over zealous cops, maybe an "IRRITATED" citizen, maybe maybe maybe.....anything that old isn't worth worrying about, without a follow up where the 'other' side of the story is presented.

    AND..according to a report from the FBI dated September 2014, ""law enforcement is expected to use NGI 196 times per day". So take how many police there are nationwide, working full shifts, 24 hours a day and divide that by 196. I believe you'll see many many zeros in front of any number...which will be like a sand pebble on a beach...just sayin....Dennis

    I was irritated but I'm a better poker player then to get cute with any Leo. My point was they knew I had a CCW. We were heading to car thing as a group, there were six other cars in the group and I was the only questioned about firearms.

    Out of state driver........CCW is linked to DL which is linked to registration

    MD Officer knew that driver has a CCW as soon as he ran plates.

    Asks where is gun........no gun
    Ask wife....she gives different story

    Let me connect the dots for you. Thread started about hidden cameras. OP says he's is/was a CCW. I posted story. Hello?
