Gas Grill from Main Propane Tank: Is this right?
I am looking to "Tee" off of my main propane tank to be able to run a grill with its own regulator. I understand that I must T BEFORE the RV regulator. I believe my system will work, I would just like to confirm before I deal with a lot of shipping...
My gas grill has a hose with regulator. At the end is a female "Acme" coupling. This is what it looks like (without the grill obviously):
I plan to get a "Tee" to install between the tank and the RV Regulator:
When installed, it should look like this:
I figure I need one of these to go between my grill's hose and the Tee:
The large acme threaded end will attach to my hose/regulator, the other will screw into where it is marked "Out to Grill and Other Appliance" in the photo above this one.
Will that adapter/Tee combination work together the way I think/hope they will?
I guess one of my two biggest questions are... "Will the Adapter fit into the Tee?" and "Are there any check valves in either the Tee or the Adapter that would keep this from working?"
Thanks!
