90 degree adapter
What year and series Class A (especially diesels) use a 50 amp twist lock system? I have never seen one used on MH - An adapter like this will reduce the strain on the twist lock connection. They are pricey but they do work!
90 degree adapter - wa8yxmExplorer IIIAs I said.. Many RVers have a few screws loose.
One of those ends (the same one you fixed) when the owner had no power in his rig I unplugged it from the RV and .. the cord fell out.
There are six screws in there L-1, L-2, N Safety ground and two cable clamp screws,, All six were loose.
Now least you think they came loose over time.... THE STICKER WAS STILL IN THE WINDOW OF THE TRAILER, this was it's first outing. - georgeantExplorerwhat it turned out to be the shore cord end with 3 blades the black wire had pulled out

it could be the cord its weird only half works when u run coach generator everything works
The transfer switch has two relays in it. One for shore power and one for generator power. Each relay has contactors or contacts in it that pass both legs (if 50 amp) of your AC through to the main breaker. If one of the contacts on the shore side has come loose or burnt out then it can cause what you are describing. all the other things mentioned above are still possibilities of course but I just wanted to expand on the transfer switch issue. Good luck. - Glad you found your problem.
Thanks for the update! - georgeantExplorerthanks again enblethen i pulled out cord put it back in before i read your post
your are right connection was off all works thanks again - If our rig is 50 amp, it has two legs of 120 volts to the rig.
I suspect that somewhere between the connector and the transfer switch one leg is open.
Do you have a twist lock style removable cord connector on your rig? If so check the cord body on the cable. Common for excess strain can pull the conductors out of the termination screw.
You can test by using an Ohm meter. Unplug and verify each conductor to next access location.
If everything works through the cord from a portable genset, then the issue is the source. - georgeantExplorerthanks for help i have plugged shore cord into different outlets and

Reset the circuit breaker in the pedestal. Turn It off applying light pressure toward off, then back on.
