How to remove these lightbulbs?
The light directly over our dining table is one of those hanging types (bolted to the ceiling, lampshade surrounding lightbulbs) that come standard with our brand of rig. Inside the shade there are two identical bulbs, each within their own socket, although I suspect they are wired together underneath the ceiling cap---I didn't look to be sure because removing the light from the ceiling is a MAJOR event. Even I didn't believe it until I started to try and take bits apart to see what I could see!
Anyway, the bulbs both burned out, at the same time on our last trip. Figuring it would be an easy fix, I tried to unscrew them. No luck. Then I thought they might the kind that you push into the socket, twist lightly and they pop out. Again, no luck. In both instances, the bulbs don't even budge...not even a little!
Does anyone else out there have this same kind of light and/or does anyone know how I remove these bulbs to replace them? I am NOT going to drag this rig into the dealer for a repair of this small size, but I sure want the light over our table to work again and I'm at my wit's end.
