Again the sewer solutions use almost twice the water to dump the tank (double the effluent) and then use more to flush the tank, the amount of water used to pump it up grades requires higher volumes as well as well…
They work but should be banned from use…
It's my stuff. Shower water and other. If it didn't go into the trailer, then down the pipes at home, it would have gone straight into the house. And used a whole lot more water than even the Sewer Solution added, what with the 1.6 gallons/flush residential toilets and high flow showers with big hot water tanks (relative to the trailer). I don't see what the big deal is.
Ya that’s the common refrain but if you have public sewers, you might want to read the rules… if your on city utilities and stay home and use more water you will also pay a higher rate for water and sewer…

well I don't think it is quite twice the water considering that some folks who use a stinky slinky have one of those back flow devices and fill up their black tank 2-3 times to get the crud out, and that Stinky slinky rinser attachment I just saw at walmart probably uses quite a bit of water to get that slinky clean. I assume then that you also think that those back flow devices should be banned?

actually twice might be on the conservative side if you are lifting and pushing the effluent long distances to… excessive tank rinsing is also wasting water no matter what method you use…
clean fresh water is the one resource we all take for granted…

I'm glad I don't live where you do. There are a lot of people who dump down there clean out. Modern clean outs will have two openings (required by modern codes) to force the cleaning device a certain direction. If you use the upsteam cleanout opening it will force the effluent down stream. It won't hurt anything at all. In my case I'm dumping a 3" stinky slinky contents down a 4" clean out. Besides, where else would someone dump at home. It is the only logical solution.
It has nothing to do with where you or I live really… I have never read of anyplace allowing the cleanout to be used as a second sewer hookup on a permanent or temporary basis… Sure there are a lot of people who dump into their cleanout… but that isn’t the codes purpose for having the cleanouts… they are not meant to be a second hookup… no, it won’t hurt anything but that isn’t the same as saying it’s ok or even legal… it’s only saying that the risk of being caught is low, so the rules don’t apply to you…
But then maybe you can link the code where you live saying the cleanout can be used to connect a permit for a designated RV dump in some areas… although I have never heard of anyone actually doing this by the book …
Logical and legal aren’t always the same thing...
Dumping into your own sewer system is different and has its own risk down the road…
