Can a membership be cancelled due to using the service for more than the average use that Good Sam says? I would like to talk to someone!!!!!!So i get a letter today from Good Sam Roadside Assistance that based upon my usage is above what the average person uses roadside they have determined that they are cancelling my service as of 10 days from the letter. So I called them and they told me that my account has already been cancelled as of 3 days ago. How do you pay for emergency roadside assistance and then use it and get cancelled??? The only reason i use GS is that my daughter is covered for free where AAA charges for each person.

Yes. Why? It’s “insurance.” Why should CW or anyone continue to do business with you and lose money? You’ve been out of the real world too along. If you worked for me and I didn’t make any money from your services, good employee or not,....bye.

FWIW, I had a neighbor who was canceled by AAA because he called too many times for dead batteries and flat tires.

Read the MEMBERSHIP AND CANCELLATION POLICYMembership is subject to cancellation by either party at any time for any reason, upon written notification. The cancellation of a membership includes the primary member and all other individuals eligible for benefits under the membership. All benefits will cease when the membership expires or either party cancels. Should the member cancel, the member will receive a prorated refund for the unused portion of his/her membership term, less our cost for any roadside assistance benefits provided under the membership during the membership term. Should we cancel the membership, the member will receive a prorated refund for the unused portion of his/her membership term, without any deductions

What is 'average'? If GS cancels policies that use more than average, then average changes. Eventually, anyone using the service even once will be over 'average'. If you think that's something, did you know Amazon will cancel your account if you return too many items? No matter what the issue, they keep a tally and will drop you like a hot potato. There is no recourse either. When the person who is dropped tries to contact them, they read some script about your membership wasn't active and hangs up. Been reading about it on another forum.

Roadside assist cancelled for over use? I guess?

I see this issue as no different than standard insurance issues. You file too many claims and you get your policy canceled.....( or rates raised massively ).

OP.....does your RV insurance company provide service for your emergencies, either free or as an option on your policy ? AAA has an upgraded RV road service policy, I think. Might check into this. CoachNet usually gets good reviews.

How about Amazon cancelling my ability to leave a review because I left a review for an RV door handle/lock that said it had a USA trademark but was made in China. Funny though they keep wanting me to leave reviews on purchases but I can't.

Why would Coachnet want to take on a customer that uses the service in excess. Surely they check past history or do you just fail to tell them about the abuses of the past.

Lots of shops are doing that now. I believe Walmart is tracking returns as well, and you can get "blacklisted" for too many.
From their perspective, it's just basic business, profit versus loss, and if they want to stay in business, it has to be done when the losses start to overtake the profit.
I think I might have used Good Sam ERS maybe a handful of times in the last decade. Is that normal? I guess I must be on the "profitable" side of the balance sheet, at that rate of usage.
