I wish that they would flash when you activate your turn signals so that folks alongside you know you want to change lanes.
I have found on occasion that activating your turn signals when someone is alongside you, waiting a few moments and then starting to move over is occasionally very effective tho.:B
I do just love those folks that are in the left lane on the freeway and see your turn signal when you need to move over and pull up even with a corner of your rig and hang there.:E
On many modern vehicles the front most marker lights DO flash when you activate your turn signal.
I can even tell you how to modify your RV so yours will IF (And I stress IF) the side lights are NOT mounted in metal (Fiberglass is a nice non-conductive material)
You have two leads
Connect one lead to the turn signal lamp's turn signal lead
Connect the other lead to the parking lamp's lead
now, if you are driving during the day (lights off) the side marker light will flash in step with the turn signal, grounding via the parking lamp circuit.
At night, it flashes opposite the turn signal, grounding (When turn signal is dark) Via the turn signal lamp
ONLY Works with non LED lamps or with LED's designed so you can plug 'em in backwards (Wedge based may work)
